The Best Rustic Solar Landscape Lights

I love adding whimsical touches to my flower gardens and one of the best ways to do that is by adding rustic solar landscape lights. Solar lighting adds a feeling of ambiance and enchantment to your landscape or gardens in the evenings. Plus, some of the cute ones also add nice decor touches during the day. The best part solar landscape lights are green energy and cost nothing to operate.

  • Or, adding whimsical touches to your flower garden, or even a vegetable garden?

Different Type of Solar Lights?

  • Landscape lights that are lantern style and can be hung from hooks.
  • There are also tabletop outdoor solar lights to consider.

Things to look for when Shopping for Landscape Lights:

  • The lights will be outdoors, so you want them to be waterproof and stand up to the elements.
  • Read product reviews.
  • When ordering online, make sure the product is returnable.

Rustic Solar Landscape Lighting Ideas

I will start with my favorite set of solar lights ever. These were given to me a few years ago as a birthday gift and they are still going strong. They do not come with the necessary mason jars, but mason jars are readily available. They are super cute even during the day.

This 8 pack Solar Hanging Lantern Style is super cute and would look great either hanging high, or on a stake in the ground.

I recently purchased a couple of sets of these Pathway Lights for some of my flower gardens that don’t yet have landscape lighting. I can’t wait to see them in place and lit up.

Add some tabletop solar lights to your outdoor dining table, as well as side tables. These charming solar lights are versatile and can be used for hanging, or for sitting on tabletops.

A very similar light as the one above, but comes in a set of two.

This charming, farmhouse style solar lantern with a flickering candle can either be hung from a hook, or placed on a tabletop. We have these lining our front steps.

These lantern style lights are a classic favorite. They are plastic, but mine have lasted for several seasons.

Add rustic solar landscape lights to your flower containers too.

These rustic outdoor lantern style hanging solar lights would look awesome hanging on a fence or a shed.

Don’t forget the Shepards Hooks or wall brackets to hang your lights.

Solar Garden Stakes

Garden Stakes are the perfect piece of decor to add to gardens that are on a slope, and if they light up at night, that makes them even better. Below are a few of my favorites.

What about this adorable, owl stake solar light.

This sun solar light stake would look great in any garden even during the daytime.

I purchased these firefly solar light stakes at the end of last gardening season and I can’t wait to add them to one of my gardens this year.

Garden Statues with Solar Lights

This little girl looks so cute in my garden, both during the day and at night. Different varieties of these statutes are available. There are both boys and girls.

There are lots of varieties of garden statues with solar lights here. There are turtles, gnomes, angels, frogs, etc.

Solar String Lights

There are so many varieties of solar string lights available. You can use them on a deck or patio pergola, twirl them around an arbor or twine them through a tree in your garden. The possibilities are endless. If you don’t have a pergola over your outdoor space, use these tall poles to hang them from.

These Solar String lights are cool because the lights themselves don’t have to be exposed to sunlight, so they work well under patio umbrellas, or gazebo tents.

What about these crackle globe lights.

You can’t go wrong with these string lights or these fairy string lights that come in lots of different colors.

I could keep going, but I will stop now. Want some other ways to add whimsy and creative touches to your landscape and gardens? I think you’ll also enjoy: Garden Decor (Lots of Creative Ideas for Your Garden) or Creative Flower Container Gardening.
