Monarch Butterflies

Monarch Butterflies, YES, they were here! I just have to share this update to my Garden Tour post yesterday. Remember this:

On our way to the front yard, I want to show you this Meadow Blazingstar Liatris. I’ve never grown this variety of liatris and I think it’s lovely. So do the butterflies, but apparently they don’t want their picture taken.

This morning I was heading out the door to run some errands and there was the little guy that avoided me yesterday (at least I think it was him) and he had brought his entire family. I backed up to grab my camera and they were so engrossed in the Meadow Blazingstar Liatris, that they totally ignored me.

There were 7 or 8 butterflies on this plant. I was afraid of disturbing them, so I just snapped one side of the plant. Isn’t this gorgeous?

I was so excited, I was shaking and was just sure I had mucked up the pictures, but they turned out great and now I’m happy to share with you all. God’s incredible creation never ceases to amaze me. Have an awesome & blessed day,
